AVTEC (Abexinah Orphans and Vulnerable Community Information Centre) is a community-based vocational training and youth empowerment organization in Kinyamaseke, Kasese District, Uganda.

“AVTEC’s Mission is to provide vocational education and holistic support for vulnerable children and young adults from local communities.

We equip orphans, youth, and young adults with practical vocational skills—such as carpentry, welding, tailoring, Building & Concrete Practice, Hair dressing and computer training—while also providing scholastic materials to primary students and offering youth sports programs that promote confidence, teamwork, and mental wellbeing.”

Vision: To become a recognized and accredited community vocational institute that delivers high-quality, practical skills training, enabling vulnerable youth, women, Men, and adults to achieve meaningful employment and self-reliance.
